After leaving school in 1989 I did a 4-year apprenticeship in engineering. I went on to become a boilermaker/fitter for the next 18 years working with several companies in the Uk.
After moving to Australia in 2004 I gained Permanent Residency as a boilermaker, later moving into a temporary operations managers role with my first company in Australia, during which time I Studied Procurement and Logistics. This then led me to Crown Engineering in 2007. My role at Crown includes procurement of all raw materials (Steel Forgings, Bearings, plate etc) both domestically and Internationally (China, Korea, Europe to name a few), the role also covers all forms of logistics both domestic and overseas. Building relationships with suppliers and end users.
